DeafBlind Interpreting
Tactile and visual interpreting for clear, safe communication.
DeafBlind Interpreting is a specialised service designed to support people who have both hearing and vision loss. Our qualified interpreters use tailored communication methods such as tactile Auslan, hand-over-hand signing, or close visual signing depending on the individual’s preferences and needs.
This service allows DeafBlind clients to access information, participate in conversations, and engage confidently in appointments, meetings, events, or everyday activities.
Sweeney Interpreting works closely with each client to understand their preferred communication style and physical access requirements. We ensure every interpreting session is delivered with care, patience, and respect for personal space, safety, and independence.
Whether it’s a health appointment, workplace meeting, social gathering, or public event, our experienced interpreters make sure DeafBlind clients are supported with effective and inclusive communication.
